YAMBA WELDING & ENGINEERING PTY LTD are now the exclusive builder for NAIAD designed rigid inflatable boats for New South Wales, Queensland and Northern Territory. NAIAD has over 25 years experience in boat building for commercial operators.

They know what it takes to design and build a tough, dependable, yet attractive and functional boat.  NAIAD Inflatables are designed in New Zealand for the harsh New Zealand conditions.  NAIAD is regarded as the market leader in New Zealand in producing rigid hull inflatable boats from 2.5 metre tenders to 15 metre specialist craft. YAMBA WELDING has over 36 years experience in aluminium boat building for both commercial and recreational operators and is a Quality Assured company with Third Party Certification under Bureau Veritas.  YAMBA WELDING is a specialist in aluminium fabrication and welding and has built boats from 4.5 metre to 22 metre.

The addition of the popular Naiad boats will complement the current range of vessels already produced by YAMBA WELDING and strengthen both companies in the Australia market place.

 

Maritime Safety QLD

Our last contract completed was for the delivery of 2 x 16m pilot boats for Maritime Safety QLD.

Over the last 6 years we have constructed 12 boats for various QLD government agencies. YWE has gained a reputation throughout the industry as one of the leading boat builders due to our ongoing technological advances through research and development.  YWE is registered with Queensland Government as a Quality Assured Supplier as well as holding Third Party Certification to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 with Bureau Veritas Certification.

Northern Territory Land Councils

Currently under construction is Djlek Rangers 8300 Ocean Cylinder. This is the fourth Ocean Cylinder to be acquired and the second 8300 Ocean Cylinder acquired by Land Councils in the Northern Territory to patrol the relevant waters.  YWE previously built two 7500 Ocean Cylinders for the rangers in NT.  All these vessels have continually exceeded our clients’ expectations.
